    FastTools Hi-Fi PCR Kit

    Fast HiFidelity Polymerase is purified from the hyperthermophilic original strain Pyrococcus spp, with super 3'-5' exonuclease activity (Proofreading activity), and high fidelity- around 80 folds of Taq DNA Polymerase. This product uses innovative affinity ligands synthesis technology, in which ligands inhibit the activity of polymerase and exonuclease in a temperature dependent way. Ligand A inhibits DNA Polymerase activity at room temperature, which effectively reducing nonspecific amplification; ligand B inhibits the 3'–5' exonuclease activity and prevents the primer and template from degradation, therefore perform high specific Hot Start PCR reaction. PCR Enhancer in this product highly improves the extending speed. The PCR product is blunt-ended, could ligate with T vector after addition of “A”, or use blunt-end clone vector, as TOOLS ZBack Faster Ligation Kit (TGVTB04).

    TOOLS Taq DNA Polymerase is a recombinant 94 kDa DNA polymerase expressed in an E.coli strain that carries the cloned Thermu aquaticus DNA Polymerase gene. It possesses both 5’-3’ polymerase and exonuclease activity, and has no detectable 3’-5’ exonuclease activity. The extension rate of TOOLS Taq DNA Polymerase is 1-2 kb/min in PCR. In addition, it has a 3’ adenylation activity. Thus, the PCR products can be used directly in TA-cloning procedures.

    Extra Long Taq DNA Polymerase

    ExtraLong Taq DNA Polymerase, a high fidelity of polymerases with 3’-5’ exonuclease activity designed for amplifying large fragment. A wide range of PCR products can be generated, up to 40 kb from lambda DNA and 30 kb from human genomic DNA. It is also a better choice for amplifying complex template, such as GC-rich template. ExtraLong Taq Polymerase is suitable as a direct replacement for ordinary Taq Polymerase in most applications. PCR products produced with ExtraLong Taq Polymerase can be used in either TA cloning or blunt cloning.

    Pfu DNA Polymerase

    Pfu DNA Polymerase is a highly thermostable DNA polymerase (90kDa) isolated from Pyrococcus furiosus. The enzyme catalyzes the template-dependent polymerization of nucleotides into double stranded DNA in the 5’→3’ direction. Pfu DNA Polymerase also exhibits 3’→5’ exonuclease (proofreading) activity, that enables the polymerase to correct nucleotide incorporation errors. It has no 5’→3’ exonuclease activity and no detectable reverse transcriptase activity. Pfu DNA Polymerase is recommended for use in PCR and primer extension reactions that require high-fidelity synthesis. PCR fragments generated by Pfu DNA Polymerase are blunt-ended.

  • Super Hi-Fi Taq DNA Polymerase

    Super Hi-Fi Taq DNA Polymerase

    Super Hi-Fi Tag DNA Polymerase is a special blend of Taq polymerase and Pfu Polymerase. It possesses both 5’-3’ polymerase and exonuclease activity. The advantages of Super Hi-Fi Tag DNA Polymerase are high productivity and fidelity. Comparing to regular Taq polymerase, Super Hi-Fi Tag can efficiently amplify large DNA fragments (20Kb for simple templates and 10Kb for complex templates). Besides, it possesses higher extension rate and amplification efficiency than Pfu DNA Polymerase. Super Hi-Fi Tag DNA Polymerase generates PCR products with 3’-dA overhangs that can be directly used in TA-cloning. To obtain higher cloning efficiency, however, PCR products could be purified and added 3-d'A overhangs before TA cloning procedures.

    Taq DSC 2.0 DNA Polymerase

     Taq DSC 2.0 DNA Polymerase is a thermally stable, processive, 5’→3’  DNA polymerase. The 94 kDa protein possesses an inherent 5’→3’ nick-translation moiety and lacks a 3’→5’ proofreading function. The DSC formulation contains a novel, nucleic-acid based hot-start additive designed to sequester the polymerase during reaction setup and during low-temperature cycling reaction phases.
