       CRISPR (clusters of regularly interspaced palindromic repeats)/Cas (CRISPR-associated) system is derived from an adaptive immune response against invading phages and plasmids in bacteria and archaea termed type II CRISPR. This genome editing technology is now widely used for making gene knockout/knock-in animals and plants as well as genome-modified cell lines. 

      TOOLS provides a custom CRIPSR/Cas system in which ready-to-use system for your gene/locus will be developed upon request. Our special CRISPR/Cas System has two separated plasmids, one is sgRNA over-expressing plasmid and the other is Cas9 protein over-expressing plasmid. So, you can adjust ratio of these two plasmids to reach the best effiency during transfecion. Our sgRNA are modified to increase the binding ability with target DNA.

    The CRISPR (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats) system is a prokaryotic adaptive immune system that consists of single guide RNA and Cas9 protein for performing genome editing in many organisms. sgRNA targets 23bp DNA sequence in length and ends with two guanines (GG) also called protospacer adjacent motif (PAM) resulting specific “cutting” of target sequence in the cell allows efficient genome engineering (knock-out / knock-in) in vitro or vivo.
    TOOLS sgRNA mRNA (in-vitro transcribed) is a ready-to-use product containing a custom-designed sgRNA for excellent efficiency and specificity. Together with TOOLS Cas9 protein (Cat. No. TS-cas9-50) or eSpCas9 1.1 protein (Cat. No. TS-cas901-50), these ready-to-inject reagents are suitable for producing gene-editing animals via one-cell embryos injection. These products can also be used to directly cut the target sequence in vitro.

    TOOLS Cas9 protein is a purified nuclease from E. coli using Cas9 gene of Streptococcus pyogenes. It is a ready-to-use product containing a nuclear localization signal (NLS) for genome editing experiments resulting site-specific cleavage of double-stranded DNA.

    The CRISPR (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats) system is a prokaryotic adaptive immune system that consists of single guide RNA and Cas9 protein for performing genome editing in many organisms. CRISPR/Cpf1 (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats from Prevotella and Francisella 1) is an RNA-guided endonuclease of a class II CRISPR/Cas system. This acquired immune mechanism is found in Prevotella and Francisella bacteria. It prevents genetic damage from viruses. Cpf1 genes are associated with the CRISPR locus, coding for a smaller and simpler endonuclease than Cas9 and it also uses a guide RNA to find and cleave viral DNA.

    TOOLS AsCpf1 protein is a purified nuclease from E coli using AsCpf1 gene of Acidaminococcus. It is a ready-to-use product containing a nuclear localization signal (NLS) for genome editing experiments resulting site-specific cleavage of double stranded DNA.
