The ladder contains twelve double-stranded DNA bands that are designed for sizing and approximate quantification of wide-range molecular weight standards on agarose gels. The product is ready-to-use and premixed with 1×Loading Buffer for direct loading 3-5 μl on gel electrophoresis. The ladder is composed of twelve purified individual DNA fragments (in base pairs): 3000, 1500, 1000, 900, 800, 700, 600, 500 (intense band for easy orientation), 400, 300, 200, and 100.
